HOW
Our programmes are built on our three pillars of Intentional Leadership: Connect, Empower and Ignite. They meet at the inflection point of change. And they inform how we’ll work with you and your team.
Intentional Leaders connect their teams to the vision and priorities. Building engagement through clarity
Intentional Leaders set their teams up for success. Ensuring they feel equipped and ready for the challenge ahead – and then letting them lead.
Intentional Leadership drives energy through the team – igniting passion and performance.
HOW
We bring our pillars to life across three stages:
We agree what programme success will look like. We look at any survey data you might have to identify themes. We meet with stakeholders and listen – we want to understand the context for why we’re working together.
We’ll engage and listen to your leaders in group sessions and one-to-ones. We’ll dive into the themes and issues we’ve uncovered. Then we’ll run a programme the upskills, inspires and give you the best chance at success.
We’ll make the new habits stick by providing clarity on roles and responsibilities. We’ll check in with the team after each tri-monthly survey; and we’ll provide aftercare to keep you confident and full of purpose. The magic’s not going anywhere.
Philosophy (Building Blocks)
When success comes fast, unconventional thinkers find themselves in unfamiliar positions. You become a leader without applying for the role. We call this becoming an Accidental Leader.
As an Accidental Leader, some of the traits you might experience are:
You avoid interacting with your team or stakeholders – you’re more comfortable ‘doing’ rather than ‘leading’.
You hold back on making important decisions until your hand is forced or abdicating altogether. You react rather than respond.
Your new role requires you to step up and away from the fold. You feel vulnerable and exposed – no longer part of the group.
To scale at speed takes a certain magic; a special team dynamic. As your behaviour shifts the team adapts but not always in the best way for the business.
Rule breakers often distrust leaders and authority. So, when they’re expected to step into a leadership role they feel inauthentic and resist it. The risk of not addressing accidental leadership – if you’re invisible, inconsistent or detail-obsessed – is that your team will not feel safe and your business will drift. Your people are looking for responsive leaders with purpose.
Using a modular combination of team development, 1:1 coaching and skills development, Third House builds Intentional Leaders who understand their role, their values and their purpose. You will feel:
You’ll provide focus and clarity for your people. You’ll be able to prioritise goals, step away from the details, and ensure everyone feels connected to the wider vision.
You’ll focus on setting your teams up for success with empathy and consistency. You’ll remove barriers and provide resources.
Your visible, energised leadership builds trust and confidence – and that drives excitement, accountability and commitment through the business.
